Where were you born?
Calgary
What did you study prior to launching your business?
I studied Biology at Queen's University and Homeopathic Medicine at CCHM prior to launching my brand. Needless to say, you never can predict where you will end up! I am very happy with the way things turned out.
Have you worked in the fashion industry before joining the Resident program? If yes, where? What did you do?
Yes, I worked at FASHION magazine as an editorial intern in 2007. This internship exposed me to many facets of the industry in a "crash course" style..
Who’s your favourite international designer and why?
Alexander McQueen. His designs were (and still are) extraordinary.
What do you never leave home without?
My iPhone.

Hawaii

Why did you decide to locate your business at TFI?
I chose to locate my business at TFI because it provides a wealth of resources and support to assist young entrepreneurs like myself through their tough and exciting start up years. I also wanted to be around like minded, creative individuals in a professional setting…which is exactly what TFI offers. During my time here I hope to increase company efficiency and continue to expand Bel Ami School Headbands across Canada and eventually internationally.
